KOXY Radio is 17³Ô¹Ï’s only student-run radio station.
Mission Statement
Besides helping students to curate their own radio shows and running the only band practice room on campus, KOXY also puts on concerts for the student body, bringing in artists of many different genres. KOXY prides itself in engaging with the 17³Ô¹Ï community, providing sound support, showcases, merch, ticket giveaways, and music on campus for all to enjoy.
Services We Provide:
- We have student-run radio shows that you can listen to at
- We run concert ticket giveaways on our instagram
- We put on live concerts at 17³Ô¹Ï–including Fallfest and Springfest– showcasing student bands and off-campus artists! We’ve had bands like Crumb, the Dare, Mild High Club, and more!
- We also help Oxy orgs and clubs put on events that require speakers, music, or audio set-up. We love collaborating with student organizations, clubs, and really just any creative group of people who want sound support at their music events, whether that be just playing music or providing speakers and sound equipment for live performances. - We run Oxy’s only Band Practice Room. The practice room is a new space managed by KOXY that is available for all students to reserve to practice music and create bands! Established in the Spring of 2023, it represents a spatial collaboration between SLICE and REHS to support the vibrant music community at Oxy.
- It includes a full PA system, drum set, bass amp, guitar amp, keyboard, electric guitar, bass, and microphones. Email us to get room access!
